2.3.1 How to Update a Subscription Plan

2.3.1 How to Update a Subscription Plan

Change a Service Line's subscription plan to upgrade, downgrade, or switch from standard to L2VPN as customer requirements evolve.

Steps:

1.    Navigate to the Service Line Details page for the line to be updated

2.    Click Manage next to the Subscription Plan information

3.    A dialog will open showing available plans — each listed with its data allowance

4.    Select the new plan and confirm

5.    The portal updates the Base Plan, changes take effect immediately for the current billing period

📌  Note:

One-off usage spikes are better handled via Data Overage (Article 2.3.2) rather than permanently upgrading the plan. Plan upgrades are appropriate when long-term usage consistently exceeds the current cap.

📌  Note:

The monthly usage counter continues for the same billing month after a plan change, now measured against the new cap.
