How to Transfer a Starlink User Terminal from Starlink.com / another provider:

Terminal transfers are managed through Starlink's platform (starlink.com), not the Orbius Portal.
This article covers the process and restrictions.

⚠️  Important:

Once transferred, the terminal is permanently removed from your original account and service stops immediately. Any remaining service days for the billing period are lost.

Transfer restrictions:

  1. Transfers are not allowed until 120 days after purchase or 90 days after activation, whichever comes first. Service must remain active for 90 days from activation.
  2. Transfers are not allowed if the account has an outstanding balance
  3. If you have initiated a return for your hardware, you can transfer your hardware only if the carrier has not yet scanned the label.

How to Transfer Your Starlink?

1.    Log into your account at starlink.com.
2.    Select the "Subscriptions" tab and then select the subscription you want to transfer service from
3.    Click "Manage" in the Service Plan box and "Cancel Service". (Take note of the Starlink identifier (Kit Serial Number), as you won’t see it after it’s removed from your account.)
Note: Cancelling the service will stop any connectivity provided by Starlink

4.    Under "Devices", find your Starlink, click "Transfer", and confirm the conditions. This permanently removes it from your account.

5.    Share the Starlink identifier (Kit Serial Number) with the new owner for activation:
