Member Privacy Options

Idea Abstract
Can you allow the Orb administrators to decide whether or not their Orb's Members can make their page private? For my community in particular, giving a member the option to keep their page "private" defeats the overall purpose. It's not a "content-sensitive" site so I see no reason to allow private pages. (And I think in some cases, members are simply unsure and so check "private" because they're given the option, not necessarily because they want their page private)
Current Status: Pending Implementation
This is a good idea. Since it's your community you should be able to choose what options your members have. It will be added to the list of new features to be implemented shortly.

Can you allow the Orb administrators to decide whether or not their Orb's Members can make their page private?

For my community in particular (CarsDiva.com), giving a member the option to keep their page "private" defeats the overall purpose of the site.  It's not a "content-sensitive" site (dating/medical/financial/etc...) so I see no reason to allow private pages.   And from the feedback I've heard, I think in some cases members are simply unsure and so check "private" because they're given the option, not necessarily because they want their page private.

Thanks,
Demetra
